Installation and Packages

To achieve compliance with DDA regulations, Crable recommends that charging shelves are installed at a height of 1.1m from the floor.

When considering installation it is easiest to compare a Crable charging shelf to an electric hand dryer as the method of installation is virtually identical: a wall-mounted device that can be installed directly to mains power.

Some wall types and settings might dictate that you prefer to install your Crable charging shelf by plugging it directly into an existing plug socket. This is no problem at all, but we recommend checking your internal policies and adding to your PAT (portable appliance testing) programme if required.
