Do you think Crable charging shelves are suitable for homes?
Crable charging stations are definitely suitable for installation in a domestic environment. Our charging shelves are robust and designed for commercial premises so they'll easily be able to survive the challenges posed in a house or apartment. Just remember that installation of Crables should only be undertaken by individuals with suitable knowledge and experience of electrics.
Does Crable offer a manufacturer's warranty for their shelves?
Yes, as standard we provide a warranty for 12 months from the date of delivery. We have options to extend this warranty by a further 48 months taking it to a total of 60 months/5 years. We can discuss this option with you as part of the consultation process when engaging with our team.
Are Crable charging stations available in different sizes?
Currently one size fits all and we have no plans to offer a range of sizes. The configurability of our shelves means you can get the optimum number of charging points, for any commercial setting, all in one compact and robust shell.

Do Crable charging shelves come in different colours?
We stock a range of three colour Crables - Very Light Grey (RAL 7035), Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) and Graphite Black (RAL 9011). We will be adding new standard colours soon. In the meantime, you can pick a colour from the RAL range or get us to perform an exact match for your chosen colour. N.B. Picking your own colour does attract a Minimum Order Quantity so please check with us how many Crables you would need to order.
Are Crable shelves vulnerable to theft?
We have designed Crables to be securely mounted to walls using the supplied bracket and security screws. Once in place it would be extremely difficult and very dangerous for a foolish thief to attempt to steal a Crable charging shelf. Other charging solutions can literally be unplugged and walked away with.
How many protable devices can be charged at once per Crable?
Crable charging shelves have been tested and certified to carry the UKCA mark. This means that your Crable is safe to handle the charging of up to eight portable appliances. Two wireless chargers, two USB ports and four plug sockets are supplied as standard and these plug sockets will be ones that are suitable for the country of installation.
Can Crable charging shelves be installed outside?
Yes, Crables are suitable for outside installation but we recommend only places where there is some form of protection from the elements. If you think the underside of your Crable might be too exposed to adverse weather conditions then we can supply your shelf with the underside sockets and USB ports removed. We simply replace the ports and sockets with blanks that provide protection for all the delicate electrical components inside.
